STEVEN PALUMBO

SINGER & ENTERTAINER

BIOGRAPHY

Introducing the Quintessential Entertainer. Steven Palumbo is a vocalist who embodies not only the unforgettable stylings of a classic vocalist, but also the charm and charisma of a world-class showman. In short, Steven Palumbo is the best of his kind. He fell in love with singing at age 10 when he and his late Mother, Regina, joined their church choir in Providence, RI. This led to an opportunity to join the renowned, New England-based Barrington Boys Choir (modeled after the Vienna Boys Choir). This experience prompted Steven to pursue formal vocal lessons and by age 11, Steven was performing arias in Puccini’s “Tosca” and Bizet’s “Carmen” at The Providence Performing Arts Center.

After graduating from Ithaca College in 1993, Steven decided to pursue a career as a professional entertainer. He was hired as a lead vocalist for the popular Rhode Island-based vocal quartet, TWYCE. During his seven years with this exciting group, Steven performed some of the greatest Motown and R&B music of all time. TWYCE covered hits by The 4 Tops, Temptations, Barry White, Teddy Pendergass, Al Green, Bobby Caldwell, The Spinners, Delfonics, Lou Rawls, and EWF. During this time, Steven also got to share the stage with such entertainment greats as Jeffrey Osborn, The Temptations, Roberta Flack, and Tavares. This experience helped shape Steven into the complete vocal entertainer that he is today.

Over the course of three decades, Steven has compiled an impressive resume of performances. New England, California, Bermuda, The U.K, Caribbean cruises, corporate events and supper clubs make up the short list of places where Steven has performed throughout his career. He performed at The Waldorf Astoria in New York City as the opening act for Howie Mandel. Most notably, Steven Performed for none other than Mr. Tony Bennett along with Bennett’s guitarist, Gray Sergeant, bassist, Marshall Wood, and pianist, Lee Musiker. Following Steven’s performance, Bennett commented “Your voice is incredible!”.

Today, Steven brings all the elements of showmanship and presence that have become second nature to him to stages and venues near and far.  Along with “The All Stars”, his 9 piece orchestra, Steven’s repertoire emphasizes the “Big Band” sounds of Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Buble, Harry Connick, Jr. and more. They also pay tribute to Motown and R&B as well as today’s popular music. Led by legendary trumpeter, and 2022 Grammy Award WINNER, Bijon Watson (Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album), the musicians who comprise Steven's orchestra are truly ALL STARS, each with careers and performance experience that spans the globe!

Steven and his Big Band are available to entertain virtually any type of event that one can imagine. So take a moment to meet Steven Palumbo. You will not be disappointed when you see and hear “The Quintessential Entertainer!”
